About This Event
Justify Executive Director Madeline Krasno will be speaking at the AVA International Summit in Toronto alongside Journalist and Author of Lab Dog, Melanie D.G. Kaplan, and The Beagle Alliance Founder, Lori Cohen.
The session, Silence, Science, and Stories: Exposing the Hidden Costs of Animal Research combines journalism, lived experience, and movement-building to expose the hidden human and animal costs that are largely absent from public discourse. Animal research is often discussed through data, protocols, and promised benefits but rarely through the stories of those most affected by it.
If you're attending the conference, join this session from 5:20-6:20 pm EST on Friday, May 22.
